Rom. 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection. Isaiah 60:21 Thy people … the branch of My planting, the work of My Hands … 61:3 … be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord … **** When we plant anything, we want to check it daily and keep it watered as is necessary.  When the Lord plants us, He wants to water us with His Word so we as Peter said will grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Himself. Psalms one gives us a good idea of how we will be when are planted by the Lord.  Just like a tree that is planted on the edge of water like a river or creek or a lake so the roots reach out to the water and grow daily, so the Lord wants us planted on a firm foundation of His Word so we, too, will flourish. The Lord expects us to flourish in the Word and in prayer, in witnessing and testifying and in giving and receiving.  He wants us to reach constant new heights in our spiritual walk with Him.  We can if we dedicate our lives to Him on a daily basis and never look back. He has given us all the tools to work with to follow in His steps.  He wants each of us to have success stories to share.  We surely can if as we walk toward the goals He has set before us to be a blessing and be blessed.   It is more blessed to give than to receive.  That’s because we are living like Him.  He wants us to prosper as He has planted us to help others and grow in His favor continually.  Amen.

Daily Manna Saturday November 20, 2021 THE ANOINTED   Isaiah 61:1 … the Lord hath ANOINTED Me to preach good tidings unto the meek. Psalms 105:15 … Touch not Mine ANOINTED and do My Prophets no harm. Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me because He hath ANOINTED Me to preach the Gospel to the poor. Acts 4:27 … Jesus, Whom Thou hast ANOINTED … Acts 10:38 How God ANOINTED Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with Power … **** When Jesus was baptized in the Jordan by John, the Holy Ghost descended like a dove upon Him and He was anointed for the ministry that lay ahead of Him.  John had a visitation prior to this hearing God tell him, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending and remaining on him, the same is He which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. John 1:33  This was the sign that made John know He was the Son of God.  So he knew this was the Son of God Who would take away the sin of the world.  John 1:29 Jesus being THE ANOINTED (the Christ) came to preach the Gospel to one and all in His area where the Jews lived.  He came to heal the sick, to cast out devils and set the captives free.  Being God in the robe of flesh, He was full of compassion and love toward multitudes who had no shepherd.  People reached out to Him because they knew He loved them. Even though God warned through the Prophet David not to touch His Anointed or do any harm to His Prophets, the religious leaders of the day who knew the letter of the Word but not THE LIFE, responded in total negativity to everything HE said and did.  He well lived the life before all but they only searched for anything to accuse Him of.  They never received His sayings or His rebukes to them but the common people heard Him gladly. Do we hear Him gladly today?  Be ever so careful to entreat those whom He has sent lest we offend.
